What Are Avatars?         An avatar is a small image you choose to represent yourself in certain online environments. This helps to define your identity inside an online community. The most common use of which is on forums. Avatar size requirements vary tremendously. You will most likely need to resize the avatar. How to Resize Avatars: There are several online editors available to allow you to resize your selected avatar to meet forum requirements. You will find a listing of online editors at our WHAT'S NEW page. Sorry, we cannot take individual requests to resize avatars. Avatar Size Limits: To keep forums fast, especially where images are uploaded, there will be a file size limit that you are forced to obey. If an avatar is too large, you will not be able to upload it. Common size limits range from 12K to 36K. Avatar Dimension Limits: If your avatar is too large it will distort the tables in the forum or download speeds will suffer. To prevent this problem forums set dimension limits on avatars (check the forum for file size and dimension limits). Make A Suggestion If we don't have the avatar you want E-MAIL US.
